Hayat Hospital

Foundation for Social Care has taken over the management of Hayat Hospital in April 2000. Since then the hospital has been elevated from a 10-bed facilities to 50-bed facilities with a functional capacity of 75 beds. Moreover, a new two-storied building was constructed on a plot measuring 10000 sq feet for the increasing needs of people around. An equal land is also spared for future expansion.

It has specialist OPD clinics in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Neurology, Paediatrics, General Surgery, Gynaecology & Obstetrics, ENT and Orthopaedics on fixed days of the week. A panel of consultants on calls covers the remaining specialties. A team of technicians and specialists in the respective fields provides the diagnostic services in Radiology, Sonology and Pathology.

The Hospital has two major Operation Theatres, a Labour Room, a Minor OT and an ICU; and it is armed with necessary equipments for surgeries like TUR for prostrate, bladders tumor, endoscopy of upper GI problems, normal and caesarian deliveries, surgeries related to ENT, etc. The plastic and ophthalmological surgery is also conducted under the Hospital; however, the consultant surgeon brings the necessary equipments himself at the time of the desired operation.

The proposal for establishing a dialysis centre at the hospital is in active consideration of the management.
